Dear Family & Friends,
Today, I met with Dr. Molmenti at North Shore University Hospital Transplant Center in New York. He informed me that my kidneys are not functioning well enough to keep me alive long term. I will need to start dialysis very, very soon.
However, a kidney transplant would offer me a greater opportunity to live a longer, healthier, normal life. The results will be much better if we can do a kidney transplant before starting dialysis. I desperately need a live kidney donor as soon as possible.
A transplant would give me the freedom to do what I love most; spending time with my beautiful wife and my only child, Jayden.
I would have more of a chance to see my son grow up and become the incredible man he’s destined to be. He’s such an incredible kid.
I never knew I could love so effortlessly and intensively until I looked into my baby boy’s eyes. The hardest thing for me has been the thought of not being here with my wife to see our darling boy grow up.
The wait time for a deceased donor in New York State is too long. Unfortunately, time is not on our side. However, God is, and I pray you are as well.
I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me. Even if you can’t, I would appreciate it if you shared this information on social media.
Any potential donor should contact the hospital at 516-472-5800. Please ask for "The Transplant Center". Mention that you want to be a kidney donor for me. Feel free to ask them questions.
