Clipse were born in The Bronx, New York City and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They formed the group Clipse in 1992, and were introduced to Pharrell Williams, one half of the production team The Neptunes, in 1993. Impressed with their lyrical talents, Williams formed a working relationship with the duo.

The first artists from the Neptune's new record label; StarTrak/Arista Records. Halestorm created this web presence to compliment the group's overall image. Halestorm negotiated and secured the group's domain name from a third party on Arista's behalf.
